Data controller and contact details

The controller of personal data for Le ricette di nonna Adele is Bruno Abbondanza. For information and requests about your data, write to lericettedinonnaadele@gmail.com.

Browsing the website

Published recipes can be read freely without registering. The server receives the technical data needed to respond to requests, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and information sent by your browser. Aruba, the hosting provider, may record this data to operate the website, diagnose errors and maintain security. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing and protecting the service.

Email enquiries

If you write to the controller, your email address, any name you provide, your message and the attachments needed to handle your enquiry are processed. This processing serves to answer you and is based on the legitimate interest in managing correspondence or, where relevant, on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Providing this data is voluntary; without contact details, it is not possible to reply. The email address uses Gmail, a Google service. Please avoid sending health information or other sensitive data that is not needed.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser to remember information. WordPress uses technical cookies for administrator login and preferences; you do not need to access the administration area to read recipes. The tools necessary to provide the service and remember your choices are not used by the controller to create an advertising profile.

The website uses Google AdSense to support the blog. Before requesting ads that use optional cookies or other optional identifiers, you are offered a choice through Google’s consent management platform. You can accept, refuse consent, or choose purposes and providers. Refusing does not prevent you from reading recipes. Simply browsing or scrolling does not constitute acceptance.

To change or withdraw a choice, open the homepage and select Impostazioni relative alla privacy e ai cookie at the bottom of the page. There you can refuse consent or manage individual options, including objections to processing proposed on the basis of legitimate interest. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. If a reload button appears after you make a change, use it to apply your new preferences.

Google AdSense and advertising providers

Advertising services may process your IP address, browser and device information, URLs visited, online identifiers and interactions with ads. Purposes include displaying and measuring advertising, preventing abuse and, where permitted, personalisation. Personalisation may involve creating or using interest profiles; it does not constitute a decision by the controller that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Consent is required for optional storage on or access to your device and for personalisation. Non-personalised ads are not automatically free of cookies: in the website’s configuration, they are not requested without the consent required for storage. The preferences panel specifies the additional purposes and legal bases declared by each provider.

Google Advertising Products and the other providers listed in the panel may receive or use data within the limits of your choices. The platform’s Elenco dei partner (partner list) and Preferenze relative ai fornitori (provider preferences) let you view the individual providers, purposes, privacy notices and stated retention details. See also how Google uses data received from partner sites and privacy information for Google’s advertising services.

Storing preferences and retention periods

Google’s platform records your choices to communicate them to providers and remember them on later visits. The panel states that, for websites, the FCCDCF cookie stores these choices for up to 390 days. This period concerns storage of the choice and does not authorise processing incompatible with a refusal or later withdrawal. If you delete cookies or use another browser, you may need to choose again.

Retention periods for other cookies and advertising data vary by provider, purpose and settings. Details are available in the provider panel and in Google’s description of cookies. You can also inspect or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may also remove useful technical preferences.

Statistics and social media

Google Analytics and Meta pixels are not loaded for visitors in the current configuration. External links, where present, open services governed by their own privacy notices. The controller having an account with a service does not mean that the service’s tracking is installed on this website.

Recipients and transfers outside the European Economic Area

In addition to the controller and Aruba hosting for technical management, Google may process data for email and advertising services, as may the providers listed in the preferences, for the relevant purposes. Google services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and standard contractual clauses in its information on transfers. For individual partners, consult the notices linked in the panel; you can ask the controller about the safeguards applicable to processing for which the controller is responsible.

Retention and recipients

Data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: handling and answering enquiries, operating and securing the website, meeting legal obligations or protecting rights. Retention criteria take account of completion of the enquiry, technical and security needs, and any applicable obligations. The controller and technical providers may access data to the extent necessary for their services; requests from authorities are handled where provided for by law. The controller does not make the data publicly available.

Your rights

Where provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw any consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Write to the controller to exercise your rights. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

The website does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.
